The Valiant: Preserving Gaming History

A place dedicated to preserving PC gaming and community history.

Welcome to The Valiant, a home for those who believe that gaming’s greatest stories should be preserved. I am dedicated to collecting and saving information about classic PC games, not only to archive it but also to ensure that these special experiences remain accessible and celebrated.

Since launching in 2013, the channel has evolved from its early clan focused beginnings into a comprehensive resource for the gaming community. My main mission is to document not only the development but also the community through in-depth interviews with veterans across all gaming genres. I also strive to give new players a helping hand. So, whether you are a veteran seeking a familiar feeling or a newcomer trying to get a classic mod running on current hardware, this is your place.

Content Creator — Nurse — Father

I am the lead behind The Valiant. When I’m not working my shifts as a nurse or spending time with my two daughters, I am dedicated to a single mission: ensuring the history of PC gaming is preserved and playable

What began as a passion in the Amiga and DOS era evolved into a commitment to archive the mods, the stories and the human experiences that define our digital heritage. From interviewing veterans to helping you get a 20-year-old game running on your Steam Deck, I’m here to be your guide through the history of the PC gaming.
